Dear Friends,
As you know, one of the goals of Autographaroo is to help raise funds for worthy non-profit organizations.  And the many celebrities who join our live webcasts are dedicated to supporting a wide range of charity organizations. These celebrities are extremely talented people, and they are people who have worked hard to develop their talents in order to entertain us, educate us, and often amaze us.  The celebrities who participate in Autographaroo are committed to sharing their hard-earned success in a way that gives to others in need.  Their hard work, their talent, and their celebrity are what make their autographs valuable.  And by sharing autographed mementos with fans or just with people who share the same wish to make a valuable contribution, they are able to make use of their success to benefit many others and we are able to join them in supporting these worthy causes.  Below are some of the wonderful organizations that have participated in Autographaroo programs and some of the celebrities that support them.  On behalf of these organizations and the celebrities that have contributed their time and talent, we thank you for your support and we hope you will enjoy and treasure the autographed items you've been able to collect.  Ran Farmer, Founder, Autographaroo

American Red Cross
The American Red Cross National Capital Region helps the people of our community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies that may be local, state-wide, national or international in nature.

Fundamental Principles: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, Universality. Humanity: The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, born of a desire to bring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavors, in its international and national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace amongst all peoples. Impartiality: It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It endeavors to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress. Neutrality: In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Movement may not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature. Independence: The Movement is independent. The National Societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with the principles of the Movement. Voluntary Service: It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain. Unity: There can be only one Red Cross or one Red Crescent Society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory. Universality: The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, in which all Societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other, is worldwide. Literacy Partners
Literacy Partners provides hope and opportunity for adults who cannot read. We have provided free adult and family literacy programs to over 25,000 disadvantaged New Yorkers in our 35 years of service.

Our mission is to ensure that all community members have access to the education they need to realize their potential as individuals, parents, and citizens. Literacy Partners provides life-changing opportunities for many people who are on society’s margins. For most, our programs are their last and only opportunity to gain the basic skills that are essential for survival in the 21st Century. Literacy Partners believes that everyone has a right to read and succeed. We offer classes to teach adults the basic literacy skills essential to lead a full life as individuals, parents and citizens. We teach thousands of the 3.7 million adults who are functionally illiterate in New York to learn to read. We help to ameliorate key social problems including, poverty, crime, poor parenting, welfare dependency, health and financial illiteracy. Through participation in our programs, adults become capable, committed, and able to enter the mainstream of society. Committed students see tangible differences in the quality of their life and the lives of their children
